If you want reliable text monitoring, SaferKid is not the best choice. It only backs up texts from iOS with iCloud credentials, which many parents find intrusive. For Android, it can’t read texts at all—only app usage and web history. You’d be better off looking at options like mSpy or eyeZy, which access messages directly on the device.
SaferKid can work but setup is often fiddly—Android is easier, iOS limits iMessage access, and it’s a paid subscription, so weigh if the value beats the hassle. For low-intrusion I stick to Screen Time/Family Link plus open talks, or try a focused tool like Spynger.
