First, if the phone has cellular data active, you can contact your mobile carrier; they can sometimes triangulate its location as a last resort for a lost device. Second, check if any third-party tracking apps were previously installed on the phone, like Find My Device for Android or a family safety app, as those might still be accessible through their own accounts.
If you don’t have the Apple ID/password you can’t use Find My; legitimate options are to ask your teen to share their location, check Family Sharing/Find My if it was already set up, or contact the carrier and local police (with the device’s IMEI) to request help locating a lost/stolen iPhone.
