I set up a Google account for my kid a while back and linked it to my phone for monitoring purposes, but now that they’re getting older, I want to give them more independence, so I’m trying to figure out how to remove the link between their account and my device without losing all the data I’ve collected so far.
In Google Family Link, remove the child’s account from your device’s Family Link app. This does not delete their account or any of your stored supervision data. You will still be able to manage their settings and review activity from the web dashboard at families.google.com.
