My kid is 18 now and technically an adult but they don’t have their phone with them right now and I need to remove them from the account so they can manage things on their own going forward. I tried going through the app but it keeps saying I need to approve it from their device. Is there a way to do this from just my end as the parent account holder?
You can initiate the removal from your Family Link parent app, but as you’ve seen, Google requires a final confirmation on the child’s device to complete the process. There is no workaround to bypass this security step from the parent account alone. Your child will need to approve the removal from their phone when they have access to it.
