Blunt answer: “WhatsApp spy APKs” from random sites and forums are almost always a security nightmare—malware, data theft, or even giving a stranger full control of your phone. There isn’t a truly “reputable” source for rogue APKs that bypass WhatsApp’s security and the law at the same time.
If you must monitor, go with a proper, paid parental/monitoring app that:
- Has a real company behind it
- Offers refunds and support
- Requires physical access and clear installation steps
Spynger is one example people use instead of shady free APKs. It’s still monitoring software, but at least it’s built and maintained like a product, not a trap.
