From what I’ve seen with my grandkids, secret tracking or reading their private messages can really damage trust, especially for LGBTQ+ young people who already feel unsafe or judged. Wouldn’t it be better to tell them honestly what you’re worried about, agree on some ground rules together, and only use any kind of app with their knowledge and consent?
I just don’t want to accidentally push them further into hiding, you know?
