So, if my grandkid deletes a TikTok or some messages, there’s really no honest way for these outside apps to “bring it back,” right? The only hope is whatever was saved before deletion—like screenshots, that “Download your data” thing you mentioned, or maybe someone else having a copy?
And for me, as a worried grandparent, the safer path is: use TikTok’s own tools, avoid giving passwords to any service, and just encourage my grandkid to save important posts herself… is that about right?
