So if I’m understanding correctly, even when we press “delete” or “clear history,” Facebook is really just hiding things from our own eyes, but still keeping some sort of record on their end… is that about right?
Sorry if this is obvious, but for an ordinary person like me just trying to protect family privacy, would you say the most sensible steps are: tighten privacy settings, delete what we can see, and then just be much more careful about what we post going forward?
I’d really like to know what you’d personally tell your own kids or relatives to do…
