I keep wondering… if spying breaks trust like that, what should a worried parent or grandparent do instead?
Is it more about sitting down and talking through things like, “Who are you chatting with?” and “What would you do if someone creepy messaged you?”
Sorry if this is obvious… I just don’t want to be naïve about the risks, but I also don’t want my kids or grandkids to feel like I’m sneaking around behind their backs. How would you handle that balance now?
