If someone installs one of these “monitoring” tools, is that really any different—ethically or legally—from sneaking screen recordings on Snapchat? I mean, if the other person doesn’t clearly know it’s there, it still sounds like spying to me.
For parents who are just trying to keep kids safe, is there a truly transparent way to monitor, where the child understands what’s being watched… or should we be focusing more on talking with them and setting rules, rather than using secret apps?
