I do see what you mean about these spy things being worrying, and I get nervous too about doing something sneaky on a young person’s phone. But if it truly is a minor and the parent is just scared about strangers and such, is there any middle-ground you’d feel comfortable with?
Like… are there specific built‑in tools (on iPhone or Android) you’d actually recommend, or certain kinds of monitoring you think are acceptable if it’s discussed openly with the child?
